Texas Concealed Handgun License and Advanced Training "Arms in the hands of citizens may be used, in private self-defense" (John Adams)
Training classes are offered for the Texas Concealed Handgun License (CHL) as well as specialized courses. Our basic classes are available for original issue and renewal of Concealed Handgun Licenses. Our Expanded courses are offered utilizing industry experts (as pictured) demonstrating advanced techniques in pistol craft and self-defense. The Expanded courses are taught in conjunction with individuals recognized as some of the best in the industry. Additional group or private instruction is offered as well.

The CHL courses include all the processing, photographs, fingerprinting, and notarization of documents required by the state to receive your license or renewal.
The state requires a minimum of ten hours of training for an original-issue license, and four hours of training for a renewal.
In an original-license class, the state requires several areas of instruction to include: weapons laws, non-violent dispute resolution, use of force and deadly force, weapons storage and safety, and basic marksmanship with a range qualification.
Jerry and General Shinseki (Army Chief of Staff)
The license renewal course requires: weapons laws, non-violent dispute resolution, use of force and deadly force, and a range qualification. Both courses require a fifty-question written examination.
In our Expanded CHL course of instruction our expert instructors will also cover personal self defense tactics, the logistics of concealed carry, additional instruction on the use and handling of firearms and marksmanship, the importance of proper mindset and preparation, as well as helping with any additional questions (time permitting).
"Weapons are the tools of power, in the hands of the state, they can be the tools of decency or the tools of oppression, depending on the righteousness of that state. In the hands of criminals, they are the tools of evil. In the hands of the free and decent citizen, they should be the tools of liberty. Weapons compound man's power to achieve whatever purpose he may have. They amplify the capabilities of both the good man and the bad, and to exactly the same degree, having no will of their own. Thus, we must regard them as servants, not masters--and good servants of good men. Without them, man is diminished, and his opportunities to fulfill his destiny are lessened. An unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it. "
