Tom is a protege of the world renown Colonel Jeff Cooper (the recognized father of modern pistol technique) and was classified as a Master Instructor by Col. Cooper. Tom had a close personal friendship and working relationship with Col. Cooper. The Colonel often referred to Tom as his "personal preacher" in his writings and presented Tom with his personal (Col. Cooper's) gold lion pin (given to those in the Colonel's inner circle who have taken lion in Africa). Tom was honored to have been asked by Col. Cooper's family to conduct his private funeral service as held at Gunsite as well as the memorial for Col. Copper at the NRA Whittington Center as held for the general public.
Using Col. Cooper's techniques, Tom has trained hundreds of individuals in the art of advanced pistol craft as well as rifle and shotgun technique. Tom's knowledge and professionalism are unparalleled. Tom is available for group lesson as well as private instruction.

General Pistol s a physically demanding 5 1/2 day class intended for law enforcement and civilians. This class teaches you all the necessary survival skills to control almost any situation. By the end of the class you will even be negotiating a live fire shoot-house. This is one of the only classes in the nation that still offers a shoot-off on the last day. This is the pure doctrine as developed by the guru himself
- Extreme Pistol
Extreme Pistol is 3 days of high-speed low drag tactics intended for the more advanced practitioner. Taught by veteran lawmen and military operators, this class will turn you into a lean, mean fighting machine.
- Secrets of Stealth Carry
Secrets of Stealth Carry will help make your sidearm invisible and insure that it's there when you need it. Carry permits are becoming easier to obtain and now the unique skills of those who go in harm's way are available to you. Find out what plainclothes detectives and master holster makers have known for decades.
Rifle
- General RIFLE
General Rifle teaches the student to manage a major caliber rifle. This is not a carbine class! The 5-day curriculum will equip you with all the necessary skills to stay large, in charge and at the top of the food chain. By the end of the class, students will be shooting in a live fire outdoor simulator. This class also offers a shoot-off on the last day.
- Extreme Carbine
Extreme Carbine is a physically demanding 5-day class intended for law enforcement as well as civilians. You will be given the same "Quick Kill" instruction developed for the U.S. Special Forces in Vietnam. You will be taught to get more and quicker hits on target using this proven shooting technique.
Shotgun

Extreme Shotgun is a physically demanding 3-day class intended for law enforcement as well as civilians. You will get more from this class in 72-hours than the other schools' basic and advanced classes combined.
Safari Prep
- Marksmanship
Learn to make quick, accurate hits from field positions at real hunting ranges. Learn proper shot placement for the various animals you will be hunting.
- Gun-handling
Learn how to safely and effectively run the double rifle, bolt-action, or lever-action rifle. What is the maximum effective range for you and your .470 Nitro? Find out how you can speed up the second shot from your .458 Lott. Learn how to moderate and disperse heavy rifle recoil for faster follow up shots.
- Learn to spot and stalk
How to close the distance to the target and move quietly through the bush.
